Tristão buys coffee throughout Brazil and has consolidated itself in the global market with the trading of raw green coffee beans, which are carefully selected to satisfy the most demanding markets, which value high quality standards.
The company has two units for storage and distribution of coffee, one in the city of Viana, in the companyâs home state and another in the city of Varginha, in the state of Minas Gerais. The former has two sets of machinery, one for conilon and another for arabica coffee; while the latter has machinery only for the arabica variety. Both storage units belong to Triscafé and have a combined 12 thousand square meter storage capacity, which are able to store up to 500 thousand sacks of coffee.
Marketing is carried out through the trading desk in the head office in Viana or in the Varginha subsidiary, preferring direct contact with producers and their farms. The purpose of this proximity is to acquire coffee directly from the source, obtaining a product with full traceability. The company also acquires batches from co-ops and, eventually, traders, from both the state of EspÃrito Santo and the state of Minas Gerais (mainly from the Cerrado (savanna region) and the south of the state, a benchmark in fine coffees), as well as from the state of Bahia, where negotiations are carried out through brokers or directly with vendors.
Adherence to high quality standards, punctuality and willingness to meet the demands are some of Tristãoâs guidelines for each consumer country. The company enhances its processes so that, after processed in its units, high quality coffee beans are produced. This thoroughness has the purpose of serving clients in several countries and offer âpleasure & satisfactionâ to the end consumer, exceeding expectations and making the quality of Brazilian coffee recognized worldwide.
